Easy Halloween Party Decorations for Kids

So now that you have checked out our simple Halloween Minute-to-Win-It Games and the fun Halloween printable invitations and party bag tags, I’ll bet you are ready for MORE HALLOWEEN FUN.  It’s actually hard for me to get into Halloween sometimes.  I want to be lazy about it.  For real.  But I’ve decided that easy is the way to go for me and this holiday.  So here’s an easy was to decorate for a Halloween kids party when you are on a budget and limited for time.

Simple decorating makes it feel like there is definitely a party going on, but it doesn’t take a lot of time or money to do.  Dollar Tree and Amazon are my friends when it comes to throwing together a Halloween party for kids.

Like I said, I used Dollar Tree for a lot of the decor and games.  Here’s what we decorated with.

Dollar Tree or Amazon for the eyeballs and candy containers.    AND yes, those are cheeseballs.  Before you scorn me for the junk food on this table, I must tell you that we never ever get cheeseballs and that is why Little Son wanted them so much for his party (a special treat!)

We put the eyeballs all over the table and filled the containers with just fun foods.

For water bottles I peeled off the label and just put a sticker instead of finding a printable label like everyone is doing these days (though in my opinion you really can just leave the regular label on, but I wanted you to see this idea).

For games, we played a whole bunch of Halloween Minute-to-Win-It Games and these are the prizes for the winners.

I put little party trinkets and treats in brown lunch bags and made some FREE Printable Party Tags.

Oh, and check out the GHOST BOOGERS we made.  Easy Peasy.

FUN DATE NIGHT IDEA! @warehouse22utah Cinebites br FUN DATE NIGHT IDEA! @warehouse22utah Cinebites brings you dinner and a movie at the same time!

Enjoy a themed dinner while you watch a fun movie. The menu goes a long with the movie and is served to you while you are watching the scene it relates to. We saw Holes (which we love!) but there are many others to choose from. Our menu had a fun drinks, appetizers, main course, sides, and dessert. I left satisfied and had a fun time with my hubby and our friends.

Purchase tickets online. Seating is first come, first served so arrive early if you want a certain seat (though there isn’t a bad seat at all). Let me know if you try this!

Date night with my hubby @amctheatres to see @thes Date night with my hubby @amctheatres to see @thesheepdetectives … Fun, quirky movie, (kinda like Babe but really like no other movie I’ve seen before). Definitely full of kid vibes but adults will like it too. A who-dun-it mystery. We laughed out loud a lot more than we expected!

Are you wondering if the Thanksgiving Point Festiv Are you wondering if the Thanksgiving Point Festival is worth visiting this year? Here’s a look at what we saw today.

We’ve had a lot of up and down weather so I wasn’t surprised to find a lot of the tulips already finishing up their season on April 23. BUT we still found quite a few areas with some big, beautiful blooms and it was a peaceful walk with less crowds. There were signs reminding us that more tulips were going to be blooming soon, so maybe wait a week or so if you want to see those new tulips.

Thank you @utahstulipfestival for a fun visit! @thankspoint @theashtongardens #tulipfestival #utahtulipfestival #tulipseason #springinutah #traveltips

Valentine’s Day with my man at the NEW Miller Fami Valentine’s Day with my man at the NEW Miller Family Beehive Stage @halecentretheatre . It’s was the perfect day to see a rom com and my hubby was a good sport to see a play called “Hallmarked” (NOT his favorite play so far). The play definitely lives up to its name—lots of predictable moments, plot holes, and cheesy lines. 🫤 But when it makes fun of itself, you will laugh and leave feeling lighthearted.
Leave your questions in the comments section if you want to more of my thoughts about this new play. #halecentertheater #thingstodoinutah #emptynesterlife #valentinesdaydate #familytravelideas
