Frozen Chocolate Milk and Frozen Strawberry Milk

I know that for many of you summer will soon be ending and school will be starting.  The problem for us is that school starts and it is still HOT outside.  So here’s a quick and easy after school snack for your kids.  My kidlets love it as a summer treat too.  It’s Frozen Chocolate Milk.  You can also make Frozen Strawberry Milk.  This is a no-brainer recipe that your kids can help you make.

My favorite is the Frozen Chocolate Milk
Yum.
My Baby Girl loves the Frozen Strawberry Milk (mostly because it’s pink–she’s so girly)

I used my new Blentec blender.  I’m still LOVING this Blendtec and love making fun new recipes with it.  It works so well!

How to make Frozen Chocolate Milk (or Frozen Strawberry Milk):

You will need:

1/2 cup milk
1 1/3 cup whipping cream (if you don’t have cream, use milk or half n’ half)
1/2 cup Nesquik Chocolate or Strawberry powder
1/4 cup sugar (more or less to taste)
2-3 cups of ice

Put all ingredients in the blender.  I put the liquids first, then the solids, and the ice last.  Blend on low for 15 seconds, then blend on medium for 50 seconds until well mixed.
Serve immediately.  Makes 4-6 servings.
