6 Summer Activities for Kids

I’ve been thinking about summer coming up.  My kidlets are almost out of school and I like to have a few fun ideas ready.  So I’m gonna pass onto you six simple summer activities for kids that I have done, including a fun idea I recently found called Little Passports.  Little Passports is a fun way for kids to learn and explore different cultures and countries around the globe.

First of all, I love that Little Passports sends a fun package to your child once a month.  My kids love to get mail and their package is full of fun things in different countries.

And second of all, I LOVE the little suitcase and real-looking passport.  This is what we got in the first package.  Then each month they send more cool things from each country.  It’s educational, it’s fun, and it’s perfect for summer, home school, and just collecting things from around the world.

They have preschool versions (Early Explorers), a World Edition (countries), and USA edition (states).

Why not take your kids on an epic summer adventure with Little Passports! Monthly packages include activities, souvenirs, stickers & more, each exploring a new destination or theme. They’ve got adventures for kids 3-12 with the Early Explorers, World Edition, or USA Edition.

For TWO DAYS only, Little Passports is offering a 15% discount on ALL subscriptions. Order now and start your summer adventure! Enter coupon code READY15 at checkout. Order soon, this deal ends May 20th!!

Fine print: **Offer valid on new subscriptions only and cannot be combined with any other offers and/or applied retroactively to previously placed orders. 15% discount is applied to the first month only on Monthly Plan subscriptions. Offer excludes shipping and taxes. Offer valid from May 19th, 2015 at 8:00AM EST to May 20th, 2015 at 11:59PM EST.

Some other fun summer ideas we’ve done are:

Summer Surprise Box — for those long, boring afternoons
Summer Stations — Indoor activities with your kids
Easy Wrapping Paper Activity — Let their creative juices flow!

Make Buggles! — Make ’em, trade ’em, travel with ’em!

Mother and Child Tea Party Lunch — they gotta have lunch anyway so make it fun!

FUN DATE NIGHT IDEA! @warehouse22utah Cinebites br FUN DATE NIGHT IDEA! @warehouse22utah Cinebites brings you dinner and a movie at the same time!

Enjoy a themed dinner while you watch a fun movie. The menu goes a long with the movie and is served to you while you are watching the scene it relates to. We saw Holes (which we love!) but there are many others to choose from. Our menu had a fun drinks, appetizers, main course, sides, and dessert. I left satisfied and had a fun time with my hubby and our friends.

Purchase tickets online. Seating is first come, first served so arrive early if you want a certain seat (though there isn’t a bad seat at all). Let me know if you try this!

Date night with my hubby @amctheatres to see @thes Date night with my hubby @amctheatres to see @thesheepdetectives … Fun, quirky movie, (kinda like Babe but really like no other movie I’ve seen before). Definitely full of kid vibes but adults will like it too. A who-dun-it mystery. We laughed out loud a lot more than we expected!

Are you wondering if the Thanksgiving Point Festiv Are you wondering if the Thanksgiving Point Festival is worth visiting this year? Here’s a look at what we saw today.

We’ve had a lot of up and down weather so I wasn’t surprised to find a lot of the tulips already finishing up their season on April 23. BUT we still found quite a few areas with some big, beautiful blooms and it was a peaceful walk with less crowds. There were signs reminding us that more tulips were going to be blooming soon, so maybe wait a week or so if you want to see those new tulips.

Thank you @utahstulipfestival for a fun visit! @thankspoint @theashtongardens #tulipfestival #utahtulipfestival #tulipseason #springinutah #traveltips

It’s was the perfect day to see a rom com and my hubby was a good sport to see a play called “Hallmarked” (NOT his favorite play so far). The play definitely lives up to its name—lots of predictable moments, plot holes, and cheesy lines. 🫤 But when it makes fun of itself, you will laugh and leave feeling lighthearted.
Leave your questions in the comments section if you want to more of my thoughts about this new play. #halecentertheater #thingstodoinutah #emptynesterlife #valentinesdaydate #familytravelideas
