Things to know about Lodgepole Campground in Uinta National Forest:

It’s very close to Heber City, Utah which makes it easy to get supplies from town if you need them.

It has very tall lodgepole pine trees (hence it’s name) so it’s a pretty shady campground overall.

The bathrooms are clean with flushing toilets.

Picnic tables are sturdy and campsites are well taken care of

It’s only 20 minutes from Strawberry Reservoir

A major downside is that it’s close to a very noisy highway. You will hear it all night.
Lodgepole is located in the Uinta National Forest in Heber Valley. It’s only 20 minutes away from Heber City, Utah which is a growing mountain city that includes a Walmart, grocery stores, and a quite a few restaurants. Our favorite family-friendly restaurant in Heber City is Dairy Keen (Home of the Train). They are famous for their burgers and shakes as well as the fun train-themed atmosphere that kids love.
