Sea Quest Interactive Museum and Aquarium Travel Review

Christmas Break is here, and we could not be more excited. But sometimes my kids get bored over the break, and it’s hard to entertain them for such a long time.  Well, here’s an activity that’s super fun for kids, indoors (so you’re not cold), and somewhat educational (but don’t tell your kids that.) In Layton Hills Mall in Utah, there’s a new museum and aquarium called Sea Quest Interactive Aquarium and it’s AWESOME!!!  Your kids get to explore lots of different animals, and you get to be nice and warm inside.  Kids and parents alike get to touch, see, and feel.  It’s so interactive.  They have sea animals as well as birds, lizards, turtles, and more.

Here’s the pictures I took at SeaQuest during their opening event in November.  My kids had so much fun there (and my husband did too!).

Sea Quest has a whole bunch of sea animals.  And while you’re there, you are allowed to touch and feed most of them.  The animals are all trained for months to interact safely with people.

In addition to the cute little sea creatures, they have lizards, turtles and snakes.  Many of them are in cages, but workers will hold some of the animals so your children can feel them.  They actually love human interaction.
My husband loves to scuba dive so he was in heaven.  Here he is “petting” the fish.

Sea Quest also has a ton of tropical birds.  My kids loved the parrot that the keepers let them hold.  There is a large bird room that you can enter and feed the birds.

The art and scenery for each area is very detailed and fun, so you feel like you are in an exciting place, not just in a mall.
I could go on and on because it totally blew me out of the water (pun intended) and exceeded my expectations for a mall museum.  You’ll love it!

SeaQuest Interactive Aquarium Utah in Layton Hills Mall offers a completely interactive, hands-on learning experience with opportunities to:

Explore: Exhibits featuring sea life, rainforest reptiles, tropical birds and vast desert species.

Discover: Feed and interact with over 300 species and 1,500 animals from regions all around the world.

Inspire: Learn more about the world we live in, as well as create lasting memories for the entire family and kids of all ages.

This was a fun, interactive aquarium for our kids.  It’s a great solution to the vacation boredom, and best of all, the kids can learn something while you’re at it.  I highly recommend this activity for the whole family!!!!

It was a miracle how they found him. He was about my age so it made an impression on me. Now this true story has been made into a movie called Faith of Angels. @faithofangelsfilm

Did you go to 801 Day at @hoglezoo in Utah? Ticket Did you go to 801 Day at @hoglezoo in Utah? Tickets were only $8.01 on 8/01 and the zoo opened at 8:01 am.
I went with my nieces and nephews and it was VERY BUSY! (like Disneyland busy). We arrived about 11 am and every parking lot was completely full and side streets were filling fast. Needless to say we had to walk a bit in the heat just to get to the front gate. There were lines to get in, lines, at snack shops, and definitely a line for the train. BUT we saw some animals—-lions, tigers, bears (oh my!)…plus giraffes, zebras, and a leopard. It was definitely worth $8.01 but it’s not for the faint of heart. A fun adventure! #hoglezoo #801day #familyactivities #hoglezooutah 🐒🐅🦒🐘🦓
So the amount of car wash centers popping up every So the amount of car wash centers popping up everywhere has made me curious. Why are they everywhere?! So we decided to try is and see what the fuss was all about. Here’s the PROS AND CONS we found:

Pros:
• Gentle yet very thorough wash—no scratching!
• Attendants right there to help you
• Fun lights and cool sprayers—it’s like a show!
• Powerful vacuums and extras for detailing

Cons:
• So expensive! This is not your regular $5 car wash.
• They have limited hours. This one closes by 7 pm so no car washing whenever you want
• Kinda an eyesore to have a car wash in every corner in town.

What do you think? What Pros and Cons have you found? Do you like these big car was centers?
