Changing the World One Child At a Time

As a child one of my favorite things to do was sit on my front porch and watch the sunset.  Something about the sunset would make me feel dreamy, hopeful, and thoughtful.  As the years went by I often thought about my life and what I would make of it.  Sometimes I felt I could conquer all my weaknesses and any obstacles that blocked me from my little dreams.  And then sometimes I would feel very small, insignificant, and powerless to make a difference.  Luckily for me, I had wonderful parents to buoy me up in the times of my smallness.  They taught me that I was loved no matter what and that I had a purpose in life.  Most of all, they taught me it wasn’t always the big things that mattered . . . that often the small things are the most important.  Little things are the big things.  And this is why I love the book I Can Change The World! by I See Me! Inc.

I believe that children have amazing gifts to influence and change the world.  From my own 3 children and the hundreds of kids I have worked with at my church for the past 16 years, I have seen that often they are wiser, kinder, and more positive than most adults.  This book inspires kids to do good, to keep trying, and that the SMALL & SIMPLE THINGS DO REALLY MATTER.  They may be little, but their hearts are big.
I love that I See Me lets you personalize this book.  It makes it so your own child’s name is on the cover and throughout the book.  It’s their very own and it personally can inspire each individual child.
I also adore the illustrations and the rhythm and rhyme of this book.  It’s uplifting and catchy rhymes are fun to read over and over again.
I just LOVE this book!  I can’t think of a better book for your child to help them realize their potential NOW, not just when they are grown.  So that when they are feeling small, insignificant, and powerless they will remember they can choose to make life meaningful and change the world.
