I have been crazy busy this weekend at my sister-in-law’s BEAUTIFUL wedding. And I mean BEAUTIFUL! My Man’s baby sister got married to her sweetheart and My Man’s family did a wonderful job putting it all together. Her wedding colors were purple and teal. They are DIYers and they did the flowers, the bouquet, the food, the decorations, the cake, and yes, we even made the skirts for our little girls to wear. I was there to help a little, but I mostly tagged along and took pictures. Here’s a sample in case you interested or just want to see some gorgeous wedding ideas:
The bride made her own cake! Love it.
Her sister Amy made the bouquet (yes, it’s that same Amy who guest posts on my blog with amazing recipes).
They did all the bouquets. Even Sweet Teen got to help make these.
We all had to make our own skirts for our little girls. Yikes (for me!). But I did it. I followed this YouTube video from MADE Everyday for help.
The food table was a gorgeous array of fresh fruits and veggies. Thank you Costco.
Homemade Chicken Salad Sandwiches (similar to my own Light Cashew Chicken Salad). I actually learned how to make chicken salad from my mother-in-law. It’s my favorite food, so I had to lighten it up a little.
Again, Costco saved the day . . .
They sewed the table runners, but the table cloths came with the reception center rental. So pretty.
They were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple for time and all eternity. Read more about LDS Temples.
