Yes, as many of you know we have decided it’s time for our little family to grow. We have adopted the sweetest girl ever. Her name is Honey.
We wanted to name her Honey because she really is sooooo sweet. Plus, the kidlets thought she looked honey-colored. She’s wonderful little Golden Retriever. So far we’ve been very pleased.
This is our FIRST dog. I had a dog named Lucky growing up and My Man had a dog for a short time as a kid, but other than that we don’t have tons of dog experience. We are like NEW PARENTS all over again. What were we thinking? I don’t know. Just when I finally got all the kids in school, we decided to have a new little pup. But actually it’s been very rewarding. We’ve already enjoyed training her and having her so devoted to us. We are training her to be an outdoor dog, so that makes it a little easier. The kidlets cannot get enough of her. And My Man? Well, he’s the one that decided on her in the first place. Honey adores him (the Alpha Male) and so My Man can’t help but be in love with her.
I’m sure good and crazy times are ahead with this little pup. Stay tuned for more adventures. And now, I’m off to go feed her . . . because I was just dy-ing for something to do today . . . (haha).
