Ingredients

1¾ cup flour
2 cups sugar
1 ½ tsp soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup butter, melted
¾ cup cocoa powder
3 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup boiling water
Instructions
Grease 9X13 baking dish.
Combine dry ingredients. Stir together melted butter and cocoa powder. Beat eggs, buttermilk and vanilla until combined. Then mix wet and dry ingredients together EXCEPT THE BOILING WATER.
Once everything is combined, stir in 1 cup boiling water. Mixture will be thin. Bake at 350 degrees in a greased 9X13 pan for 40 minutes, depending on your oven. Cake is done when toothpick inserted comes out with a few crumbs stuck to it. Cool slightly and frost as desired.
Ganache Frosting……1 ½ cup chocolate chips, 1 cup boiling whipping cream……*stir together until smooth. Spread over top of warm cake. DELISH!
