So I’m at the end of my 8 week journey for Feel Great in 8. Here’s a quick update of how it worked for me:
I liked it. This has been a very STRESSFUL 8 weeks (which I did not expect). Sooo stressful!!! The Feel Great in 8 program helped me stay focused on some of the most important things even during this STRESS. I was able to take time to read and meditate and pray. I also exercised 5 times a week through it all. I probably ate better than I would have (cuz I’m a stress-eater), but I did start to mess up a lot on that last week as the stress was mounting. But I quickly noticed myself falling into a bad pattern because I ate so nicely for most of the 8 weeks. So my body is definitely feeling the difference and I’m motivated to keep trying.
Best of all, I loved that this program helped me NOT feel guilty when I messed up. I got points for many things in my day–service, family time, reading, eating a piece of fruit, sleep. So even if I didn’t get everything exactly right each day, I still got credit for the good things I did. And that’s how it should be.
